ANUJA GOONETILLEKE
Anuja Goonetilleke is an Attorney-at – Law and Notary Public by profession counting 35 years of combined experience in the fields of legal, compliance and company secretarial, mainly relating to banking and finance industry of Sri Lanka.
She completed her studies at Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo 08, and her legal education at the Sri Lanka Law College (administered by the Incorporated Council of Legal Education of Sri Lanka) with First Class Honours.
Anuja joined Sampath Bank PLC in 1988 , soon after its inception in 1987 and was a dedicated member of the Sampath Team for nearly 30 years until her retirement in July 2018. During her carrier at Sampath Bank she held the key positions of Chief Legal Officer, Group Compliance Officer and Company Secretary.
Currently she practices as a free-lance legal consultant.
